Mure automatically charges your battery when electricity is cheap and discharges when it's expensive. No Raspberry Pi, no Home Assistant, no scripts. Paste one API token and you're done.
Three steps. Two minutes. Then Mure handles the rest.
STEP 1
Connect
Copy your inverter serial number and API token from your manufacturer's portal. Two minutes, no hardware to install, no code to write. Full control on GivEnergy and Fox ESS; monitoring on SolarEdge and Enphase; Tesla and Huawei in development.
STEP 2
Optimise
Each evening, your energy supplier publishes tomorrow's half-hourly prices. Mure fetches them automatically and computes the best charge/discharge schedule for your battery.
STEP 3
Save
Your battery charges at 3p/kWh overnight and discharges at 35p/kWh during the tea-time peak. Typical savings: £200-400/year on Octopus Agile.

Solar installers: give every customer a smart battery
Every battery you install becomes a smart battery. Our fleet dashboard surfaces problems instantly so you fix the 3 devices that need attention, not scroll through 200 that don't. Fewer support calls. Happier customers. More referrals.
Errors and low-SOC devices surface to the top. Visual gauge grid shows every battery at a glance. Problems first, healthy devices collapse.
Customer onboarding
Add a customer in 2 minutes. Enter their email and device serial, Mure handles the rest. No technical knowledge required from the homeowner.
API access
Full REST API with 37 endpoints. Register devices, compute schedules, pull telemetry. Build your own tools on top of Mure.
Frequently asked questions
How does Mure control my battery?
Mure connects to your inverter through the manufacturer's cloud API - the same connection your battery app already uses. Each evening, we fetch tomorrow's half-hourly electricity prices, compute the optimal charge and discharge schedule, and apply it to your inverter automatically. Nothing to install on your home network.
Is it safe for my battery?
Yes. Mure only uses manufacturer-approved API commands. We respect your battery's reserve minimum, never exceed charge or discharge rate limits, and if we lose connection, we immediately switch to Eco mode as a failsafe. You can override to Eco mode yourself at any time with one tap.
How does billing work?
Flat £3/month or £30/year, billed to your card via Stripe. No percentage of savings, no variable invoices, no attribution disputes. Typical Agile savings are £200-£400 per year, so at £30/year you keep almost all of it. Cancel anytime from Settings and your battery reverts to its default behaviour immediately.
Which batteries and tariffs are supported?
Full charge/discharge optimisation is live for GivEnergy and Fox ESS (H1, H3, KH series). Monitoring-only support is live for SolarEdge and Enphase: their public APIs don't allow third-party battery control, so Mure reads live data and shows what an optimised schedule would have saved, but the schedule still has to be applied via the manufacturer's app. Tesla Powerwall and Huawei adapters are in development. Tariffs: all Octopus (Agile, Go, Flux, Tracker, Cosy), Economy 7/10, and any time-of-use tariff.
Isn't this already free with Predbat or Home Assistant?
Predbat, EMHASS, and similar tools are powerful but require a Raspberry Pi or home server, Home Assistant setup, YAML config, and ongoing maintenance. GivEnergy's own Agile integration is in beta and locked to their hardware. Mure is a hosted service: no hardware, no config files, works across inverters, and keeps running whether your home server reboots or not. You're paying £30/year to skip the tinkering.
Can I stop the automation at any time?
Yes, instantly. The dashboard has a Pause button that switches your battery to Eco mode within one polling cycle (under 5 minutes). You can also disable Mure entirely from the Settings page, which releases API control back to your inverter's default behaviour.
How much can I realistically save?
It depends on your tariff, battery size, and usage patterns. On Octopus Agile with a 9.5kWh GivEnergy battery, typical savings are between £150 and £400 per year. On days with negative prices (which happen regularly on Agile), you can be paid to charge your battery.
Is my battery and data safe?
Yes. Mure can only send commands GivEnergy itself allows - we can't drain your battery below your reserve, exceed its rate limits, or damage the hardware. You can revoke our access with one click from the GivEnergy portal at any time. For the technically curious: your API token is encrypted with AES-256 (Fernet) before it touches our database, never logged, and only decrypted in memory when sending a command to your inverter.
Connect your battery in two minutes
Paste your GivEnergy serial number and API token. Mure handles the rest — automatic optimisation against Octopus Agile from the next schedule.
